How far in advance do I have to place a custom order?
Because some orders require more attention to detail, we recommend getting in touch with us as early as possible. Our personal recommendation is AT LEAST 3 WEEKS in advance.

In busier seasons, the earlier the better, as we accept orders until our order slots are full, which tend to fill very quickly – most specially during holidays!

How far in advance do I have to place an order from your daily menu?
Orders for daily menu items for the following day can be placed through our online ordering system until 3pm. Any orders for the following day that are placed after then cannot be guaranteed. If you need an order for the following day, but are placing the order after 3pm, please call the store at 905-878-1036, and we’d love to see how we can assist you!
What is a custom order versus a regular order?
A Custom Order (or Special Order) is anything that is not something we have readily available on a normal day. Most of the time, orders like these are “themed” in some way (i.e. Ube cakes with a different colour and shape, tiered cakes, sculpted cakes, customized macarons, baptism cookies, etc). A regular order is anything you would normally see on our shelves every day, and are designed to our daily brands (i.e. Ube Cake, Chocolate ‘N Cream Cake, Chiffon Slices, Ensaymada Family Trays, Pandesal, etc).
Are you open on Statutory Holidays?
We are CLOSED on Statutory Holidays. Our Bread ‘N Batter Family, like many of your families, take pride in the spirit of celebration. So on Statutory Holidays, we love sending everyone home to take the day to celebrate with our families and loved ones too! Maybe you’ll see us around at some local events!
Does it cost more to have a greeting piped onto a cake?
All piped greetings are complimentary with the purchase of any of our cakes. When you place an order, just let our family know that you’d like a greeting written and we’ll have it ready for you when you pick up your order. Not sure? Not a problem! You can always tell us when you arrive, and we’ll have it piped on in minutes!
Do you offer cake tastings?
YES! We offer them in the form of takeaway If you want to place an order, but are unsure of the taste and flavours, you may place an order for a tasting box online! You will be given two (2) servings of your chosen three (3) pairings. You can place an order
What is the expiration date of your products?
We don’t currently place expiration dates on our products, but everything is made without added preservatives so they aren’t meant to stay around for too long! You can find your purchased items’ expected shelf life & storage suggestions
