How far in advance do I have to place an order from your DAILY MENU?
Orders for daily menu items can be placed 2 business days in advance from your event date. Any orders prior to this time frame cannot be guaranteed. If you need an order in less than 2 days, please call the bakery at 905-878-1036, and we’d be happy to see how we can assist you!
Are you open on STATUTORY HOLIDAYS?
We are CLOSED on Statutory Holidays. Our Bread ‘N Batter Family, like many of your families, take pride in the spirit of celebration. So on Statutory Holidays, we love sending everyone home to take the day to celebrate with our families and loved ones too! Maybe you’ll see us around at some local events!
Do I have to pay to have a GREETING written onto a cake?
All piped greetings are complimentary with the purchase of any of our cakes. When you place an order, just let our family know that you’d like a greeting written and we’ll have it ready for you when you pick up your order. Not sure? Not a problem! You can always tell us when you arrive, and we’ll have it piped on in minutes!
How long do the CAKES and CUPCAKES last?
Our Cakes and Cupcakes are usually topped with a whipped cream frosting. Because of this, we recommend they remain in the fridge in an airtight container for optimal quality. Because we don’t add preservatives to our products, they won’t last too long, but should stay well in the fridge for about 4-6 days.
I need to TRAVEL FOR MORE THAN 30 MINUTES. Will my cake/ cupcakes be okay?
Our Cakes and Cupcakes are normally made with whipped cream frostings – that’s what keeps them airy and light! However, this also means they cannot stay out for too long. If you’re travelling for more than 30 minutes during a warmer day, please make sure to contact the bakery ahead of time. We can prepare your cake/ cupcakes in cooler temperatures so we can help in the travel. Please call ahead at 905-878-1036.
